Make the most of your time in Hong Kong

Why not extend your stay and enjoy the best of Hong Kong’s attractions and culture, either before or after the conference?

Victoria Peak

One of the must-see attractions. As you ascend, the views become even more breathtaking. Take the Peak Tram, one of the world’s oldest funicular railways, which welcomes more than 6 million patrons a year.

Be sure to visit the Peak in the evening as well, as Hong Kong is famous for its breathtaking nightscapes, earning recognition as one of the world's top three cities with the most spectacular night views by Japan's Yakei Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Whether you are near the ocean, atop a hill, or amidst the bustling city, the vibrant colours of Hong Kong's nighttime landscape will captivate you.

Victoria Harbour and Star Ferry

Victoria Harbour is one of Hong Kong's most iconic attractions, offering breathtaking views of the city's skyline and a vibrant cultural scene.

The harbour is famous for its nightly Symphony of Lights, a spectacular display of music and lights that illuminates the city's skyscrapers.

A must-do experience for tourists is a ride on the Star Ferry, which provides stunning views of the harbour while connecting Kowloon and Hong Kong Island.

This historic ferry service is not only a convenient mode of transport but also a beloved symbol of Hong Kong, featured in numerous films and media.

Temples and monuments

The Tian Tan Buddha, known as the "Big Buddha", stands 23m high and is one of the most recognisable sights in Hong Kong.

The atmospheric Man Mo Temple is one of Hong Kong’s oldest temples and a declared monument.

And don’t miss the Chi Lin nunnery, rebuilt in 1998 and made entirely of wood, but without a single nail.
